How Spoolform collects, uses and protects your personal data.

In short: we only collect what we need to make and send your order and to reply to you. We never sell your personal data.

Who we are

Spoolform is a 3D printing and design studio in Malaysia. This policy explains how we handle personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). If you have any question, contact us at hello@spoolform.com or WhatsApp +60 11-7221 2707.

What we collect

Contact details you give us, such as your name, email, phone number and delivery address.
Order and project details, such as your messages, design files and reference images you upload.
Tool data: when you download from our QR Review Stand maker, we collect your email, the name on the stand and the QR link you entered.
Basic technical data, such as cookies needed for the website and cart to work.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and make your order.
To deliver your order and update you on its status.
To send you occasional Spoolform news and print tips, if you gave us your email through our tools or forms. You can ask us to stop at any time.
To keep the website safe and working well.

We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent or trade your personal data. We only share it with service providers we need to run Spoolform, and only what they need for that job:

Courier companies, to deliver your order.
Our email provider, to send emails to you.
Our website hosting provider, which stores the website and its data.

We may also share data if the law requires us to.

Your files and designs

Files and images you send us are used only for your project. We do not share or sell them, and we do not use them in our marketing without your permission.

How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example to handle a repeat order or a warranty question, or as required by law. After that, we delete it.

How we protect it

We use secure connections (HTTPS), password-protected accounts and limited access to keep your data safe. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you can ask us to:

Tell you what personal data we hold about you.
Correct data that is wrong or out of date.
Stop sending you marketing emails.
Delete your data, unless we need to keep it by law.
