A small design studio making useful objects for the desk, the wall and the everyday, designed and printed in Malaysia.

Our story

It started
at one desk.

A tangle of cables. A bare wall. A charger with nowhere to go.

Spoolform began with small, everyday problems that ready-made products never quite solved. Instead of settling for something generic, we started sketching, modelling and printing our own answers.

Each piece went through the same loop: design it, print it, live with it, then improve it. The objects that survived that loop became the Spoolform collection.

We still work that way. Every object is drawn, tested and refined before it is made for anyone else.

Every object starts with a real problem. If it doesn’t make a desk, a wall or a routine better, it doesn’t get made.

Honest layers

3D printing builds objects layer by layer. We design with that texture in mind instead of hiding it.

Each piece is checked by hand before it leaves the studio, because small details are what you notice every day.

Every object starts as a problem worth solving and a rough idea on paper.

Model

The idea becomes a precise 3D model, with real dimensions and real use in mind.

Prototype

We print, test and adjust until the fit, feel and finish are right.

Print & finish

The final piece is printed layer by layer, then checked and finished by hand.
